The 21-year-old central defender is on the verge of a £25.8 million ($32.8m) transfer to the Lillywhites after snubbing Bayern Munich and will sign a contract that will reportedly run until 2029. However, amidst the excitement, Dragusin's agent, Florin Manea, has hinted that the player aims higher and will be using Tottenham to gain experience so that he can eventually move to football giants Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Speaking to the Romanian networkDigi Sport, Manea said: "We are only at the beginning of the road, we want him to reach the best teams in the world. We were close, Bayern are among the biggest clubs, but his dream is Real or Barcelona. If he was 23 or 24 years old and had more experience, maybe he would have decided to go to Bayern, but we took many things into account; his age and the competition. In three or four years I see him at Real Madrid."

As Dragusin steps inside the Tottenham Arena, Djed Spence will head in the opposite direction, which acted as a deal sweetener for Genoa. The Romanian played a crucial role in firing the Italian outfit to the top flight from Serie B by keeping things tight at the back and also netted four goals during the campaign.
