Sane lit the world alight with Manchester City during his rise to fame under Pep Guardiola from 2016 to 2020; however, after falling down the ladder at the Etihad, he left for Bayern Munich and has been in good form. This summer, Sane's contract at Allianz Arena is set to run out, and the Bavarians are getting nowhere closer to tying him down to a new deal.

The Times has now reported that Arsenal are considering making a move for Sane this summer as they want to sign a left-winger heading into next season, as Arteta is not very happy with his current options. The Gunners have been interested in signing Athletic Club's Nico Williams, however, his wage demands may make the move improbable for the Gunners.
